Over the years, Docs has built an engaged and diverse community of creators, influencers, musicians, and creatives. To close out 2022 we brought them together for a holiday celebration at Saint Tuesday in New York City. We created space for them to connect, meet the DM’s community, celebrate the amazing year of collaboration, and create a stronger connection to the Dr. Martens brand.
Key Activations: Live performance by music collective Papi Juice (featured in the Holiday campaign), Branded Vintage Photobooth, Curated Food & Cocktails, A variety of photo moments: Immersive entrance with tinsel & branded records, custom wall, videographer + photographer, Mingling between creators, media and DM’s team.
Over 198+ pieces of content were shared organically (+304% from previous event). Potential reach was over 3.6 million (+160% from the previous year) Influencers showed how they (and friends) styled their Docs for the event, GRWM videos and many shared snapshots of their photo booth strips at event.
We partnered with the PR team on a curated list of fashion editors to invite and seed product. Over 7 members of the press attended from a variety of publications like Refinery 29, GQ, and HypeBeast. Additionally, a few editors that couldn't attend featured DM’s in product round ups resulting in 5 media hits. Dr. Martens featured in Hypebeast series ‘Sole Mates’. Mark (featured) and editor Elliot were both present at the event.
